Welcome to my unexpected intermission - a written and visual journal of a pause I didn’t plan.

After years of moving through life in fight-or-flight mode, I’ve been given space and time.
Something I didn’t ask for, but clearly needed.

This season has brought opportunity, not the loud, obvious kind with clear answers, but the quieter kind that shows up when you stop and pay attention.

There’s also a lot of uncertainty.

I don’t know what’s next.

I can’t control how this unfolds.

And I’m learning to sit with that instead of trying to fix it.

I’ll honestly share the ups, the downs, the not-knowing, the questions, and, the adventures that come with taking a (unplanned) grown-up gap year.
